Dr. Aleia Tipton is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and the proud owner of Deschutes Acupuncture. She is passionate about helping people achieve their best quality of life through safe, effective, and personalized care. In addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine, Dr. Tipton integrates nutrition, mindfulness, manual therapy, and movement into her treatments, empowering patients to reach their unique health goals.

Her educational journey began at the University of Oregon and the University of Tarapacá in Northern Chile, where she studied integrative medicine and International Public Health. She went on to complete both her Master’s and Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California. She became one of only 7% of acupuncturists in the United States to earn a doctoral degree in the field.

Dr. Tipton is dedicated to the health and well-being of her patients, treating a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, pain management, women’s health, digestive disorders, stress, and sleep concerns.
